Being a parent is such a wonderful blessing. It is a life-changing experience for many of us and makes us better versions of ourselves. As we dedicate and commit ourselves to be the best parent ever.

In our culture, we have so called Ninong and Ninang. They are the ones who act as the second parents of our beloved little ones. But little did we know that there are some stories of parents and godparents which are not as good as we think they are.

It was just recently when a netizen shared her experience with her “kumare” as this mother asks money from her the second time around. The viral post from a Facebook page shows screenshots of the conversations of the mother and the netizen. It actually started when a mother asked the netizen if she can borrow P1,000 from her because her daughter, which happened to be her inaanak, needs diapers. The mother told the netizen that she needed the money so much but the “Ninang” refused as she will be needing the money as she puts up her own business. The “Nianang” also added that the mother still had an unpaid P1,500 from her as she had also borrowed money from her before. The mother insisted that she should not be asking the payment for that money anymore as she can consider it as an early Christmas gift for her “inaanak”. The mother also added that the netizen was really rich and she can easily let her borrow a thousand peso.

The “Ninang” told the mother that the money she was borrowing from her was too much to buy her daughter diapers, she also added that Christmas time is still so far away. She even asked the mother about her husband as he should be the one to provide the needs of his family. But the mother immediately replied that she has not been a good godmother to her daughter because she was never visit her “inaanak”. The mother even told “Ninang” that she was selfish for not lending the mother a small amount of money.

The mother even told her “kumare” that she should not choose her be the godmother of her daughter. Making things more complicated, the mother ask the “Ninang” to pay the food she ate during the baptismal.
